I don't know about you but since I'm always snapping photos on my phone or digital camera, I often feel like I'm not really fully experiencing my travel moments. Scientists say we should sketch what we see if we want to retain our travel memories for longer, so TUI has introduced Sketch to Etch kits in TUI Sensatori resorts: http://www.pommietravels.com/sketch-or-paint-to-make-your-holiday-memories-last-longer/
It's been a while since I posted a video but here's a vlog of my latest trip to Majorca with vouchercloud and TUI! https://youtu.be/vKOLESLZfLg
Sometimes the last minute, spontaneous trips are the best! Booked a 3 day trip to Majorca with vouchercloud and TUI and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised at this island! I discovered wineries, mountain roads and beautiful villages while road tripping around the island.
I love the French Riviera, always one of my favourite places for a holiday. Here are the best beaches to visit while you're there: http://www.pommietravels.com/5-of-the-best-beaches-in-the-french-riviera/

Winter sun in Cape Town, I like this place ☀️
Any tips for #CapeTown? Am heading there on Sunday for a mini holiday - found some cheap flights with Jack's Flight Club. Nice to be travelling to a new place and not for work, although this water shortage will be interesting, better pack my dry shampoo...
As we begin a new year, Yogi Tea asked me to reflect on my #GoldenMoments of 2017 as I try their new Turmeric Chai, otherwise known as "Golden Milk". Wherever you are in the world, I hope your 2018 is filled with lots of adventures. What do you have planned for the year ahead?
Had my first ever "staycation" in London this week The Gore Hotel! It was so festive and Christmassy and my room was fit for a Queen - nice to enjoy a mini holiday without going too far! I used a Hotelgift voucher to book my stay - if you're stuck for an idea for a Christmas present, a hotel gift voucher is a great idea for a travel lover. Check out my review here: http://www.pommietravels.com/the-best-hotel-in-london-for-a-christmas-staycation/
I was really quite surprised about how easy it is to drive from London to France. 2 hour drive to Dover, 1.5 hours relaxing on the DFDS UK ferry (the views are amazing!) and then about a 20 minute drive to our chateau. Had a nice little getaway with my best friend Elle, you can read all about our trip to discover Boulogne-sur-Mer here:
Follow my adventures on Instagram today with DFDS UK from Dover to Calais! It'll be my first time seeing the White Cliffs of Dover and driving on the other side of the road! Taking a little getaway to a chateau with my best friend Elle. #ad
Can't believe how small and light this SanDisk portable hard drive is - and it's 240GB! I take so many photos and videos these days and always get impatient waiting for them to transfer, but this beauty transfers files at lightning speeds - definitely an essential part of my kit now.

Went to a fun, free event in London last weekend hosted by Vive Andalucía to showcase the spirit of Andalucia. It was a rainy day but the flamenco dancers, VR headsets and free Spanish tapas definitely brightened my day, plus I got to catch up with The Travel Hack! #AndaluciaInLondon http://bit.ly/2zOmjmR
I've discovered my new favourite tea brand and it's ❤️. Lately I've been drinking herbal teas a lot because I have a caffeine intolerance. Yogi Tea produces a range of organic teas that take on average 7 minutes to brew, so they're encouraging tea drinkers to use these 7 minutes to do something that makes them feel good - find out what did in my #7minuteschallenge. 🍵 #ad
If you live in London, head down to #AndaluciaInLondon at Angel Central Shopping Centre this Saturday 4th for tapas, virtual reality, live music and flamenco! What's your daily commute like? I doubt many are as beautiful as the Atlantic Ocean Road, Norway - the world's greatest commute! Confused.com have created a 360-degree video of this incredible road, so you can experience the drive like you're actually there!
Do you feel like your trips have lost the surprise factor? These days I feel I spend so much time planning, looking at reviews and scrolling through Instagram photos that sometimes I think I've lost the element of spontaneity with travel. A company called Mirumplan are bringing back the element of surprise to travel by organising mystery trips to Spain!
Received a mention in Marie Claire this week :) What's on your bucket list? http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/life/travel/travel-bucket-list-527473

Jack is a travel hacker who sends out email alerts with error fares and ridiculously cheap deals (latest one was £258 return - Paris to Tokyo to London!) There's a free version and a premium version - it's well worth getting the premium version for annual feee of just £35. You get 4x as many deals to your inbox and you have first dibs before they sell out. Check out my review here:
Sometimes a girl just needs a weekend away...I was feeling a bit stressed with work so drove down to New Forest for the weekend. Such a cool forest and horses lying in the middle of the road everywhere! Burley Manor was such a treat! If only I could feel like lady of the manor all the time.
The Galapagos has always been on my bucket list! What would you like to see? The Galapagos Tortoise or the Blue Footed Booby? Check out this list of awesome wildlife you can see in The Galapagos by Pettits.
In most countries you're able to get to and from the airport by public transport or taxi. But sometimes it's a hassle trying to negotiate taxi fares or haul your bags onto different buses and trains. KiwiTaxi lets you pre-book transfers so you know exactly what you're paying, and best of all it's available in 94 countries. Check out my review here:
